Two primary stations serve the tower: Oshiage (Skytree) on Hanzomon/Asakusa lines, and Tokyo Skytree Station on Tobu lines.

Subway access

Fastest Metro Choices

  • From Shibuya/Shinjuku: Hanzomon Line to Oshiage.
  • From Asakusa: Tobu Skytree Line or 20–25 min riverside walk.
  • From Tokyo Station: JR to Kinshicho, transfer to Hanzomon → Oshiage.

Wayfinding: Look for Skytree icons on signs; underground passages lead directly into Solamachi.

Walking from Asakusa

Cross Azumabashi and follow the river south. It's scenic and flat:

Azumabashi Bridge

Route: Kaminarimon → Azumabashi → Sumida Park → Solamachi → Skytree
Time: 20–25 minutes (photo stops not included)

From Airports

  • Haneda: Keikyu/Asakusa Line → Oshiage (often 1 transfer).
  • Narita: Keisei/Access Express → Oshiage (direct options available).

Taxi and Rideshare

Convenient but pricier; drop-off zones are well-signed. Useful late at night or with luggage.

River Boat Idea

From Asakusa Pier, boats run toward Odaiba or Hamarikyu; consider a round-trip with Skytree visit in between.

IC Cards

Suica/PASMO work on all relevant lines. Keep some backup coins for lockers.
